Most of us hand over a phone more than we’d like to admit. I do too. This is something else to hand them: a big map on the wall, a pile of stickers, and a question like “how would you get to the park from here?” It’s a rainy-afternoon project that turns into a walk.

A real skill they’ll keep
A lot of kids can follow a blue dot but can’t tell you which way is north. Reading a map is a real skill, and the easiest place to learn it is a neighborhood they already know. They’ll start to see how the streets connect and where the trails go, and how to get home (or, someday, to school).

Every home is drawn and numbered, so your kid can find their own front door, then their best friend’s. Trails, creeks, footbridges, parks, pools and playgrounds are all marked, and Willow Creek Elementary has a star.

Every wall map comes with a custom sticker pack in old-atlas style: a My House flag, a My School flag, and a pile of blank pin flags, stars, X’s, contour hills, dotted circles, tree symbols and little pennants.
No labels on the rest, on purpose. Your kid decides what each one means: a friend’s house, the best sledding hill, a secret fort, buried treasure. The stickers are cut to the map’s scale, so a dot covers about one house lot.

Pending, not available yet: a folded 24 × 36 in vintage-texture paper map, $35, coming 2027. You can join the waitlist or pre-order, but it won’t be ready for Christmas.

Do I pay online?
No. Nothing is charged on this site. Pay at pickup — cash, Venmo, or card when you collect your map in Willow Creek.
When and where is pickup?
Wall-map pickup is Dec 15–20, 2026 in Willow Creek, Centennial, CO. Exact spot is sent by text after you reserve. Pre-orders close Sat Nov 21.
What’s included?
Every laminated wall map includes a custom sticker pack sized to that map (My House / My School flags plus blank flags and cartographic dots).
Is the paper map available for Christmas?
No. The folded 24 × 36 paper map ($35) is pending for 2027. You can join the waitlist on the pre-order form; it won’t be ready for Christmas 2026.
Can I cancel?
Yes — cancel any time before Nov 21 with no charge (nothing was charged online).
